Kiwi is one of our favorite foods and here’s a few facts that maybe you didn’t know.
They are high in vitamin C
A good source of vitamin E
They contain a ton of fiber
Slices can be used to tenderizer meat
When choosing a kiwi look for one that is large, plump and oval shaped that gives slightly to the touch. Once ripe you can store them in the fridge away from other fruit for up to two weeks.
When it comes to peeling them, getting past that brown furry exterior is always so much work but then the beautiful emerald green interior is revealed and it makes it all worth it.
My life has changed because of this little trick and I’m so happy to share it with you. I no longer dread the work it takes to peel a Kiwi and I’m happy to slice as many as my kids can eat.
